How to work out which size you require
- Check the size of the broken tap you wish to remove
- Check the number of flutes on broken tap 3 or 4
- Refer to our list to suit your requirement.
HOW TO USE
Try to grind any part of tap flat on top where it has broken, a cut of wheel is ideal if you can get to it.
Clear out any obstruction between flutes on broken tap.
Fit extractor in-between flutes using a tap wrench & extract the tap, you may have to go left to right in small motions to loosen tap.
Note:
TAP EXTRACTORS ARE NOT GUARENTEED TO ALWAYS WORK ON EVERY JOB. IF THE TAP HAS SHATTERED ALL THE WAY THROUGH, YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK OUT WITH TWEEZERS OR TRY POINTY NOSED PLIERS.
