• Suitable for thin stainless steel sheets, iron sheets & aluminium sheets

• Used to remove spot welds, which are small, circular welds that hold two metal sheets together. This kit includes a drill bit and 6 x double sided cutters.

  The drill bit is used to make a pilot hole through the top metal sheet, allowing the cutter bit to cut through the spot weld underneath. The cutter bit is designed to cut around the spot weld without damaging the surrounding metal, making it easier to separate the two sheets.

• Also included are 2 x locator pins. These pins are used to help align the drill bit and cutter bit with the center of the spot weld, ensuring accurate and efficient removal of the weld.

  The locator pins are inserted into the pilot hole created by the drill bit, and their diameter matches the size of the spot weld. By using the locator pins, the cutter bit can be guided directly to the centre of the spot weld, which helps to prevent damage to the surrounding metal and makes the process of removing the weld easier.
