July Coronavirus Operation Info

20/07/21

Here we go again ! Unfortunately Victoria's lockdown has been extended so it has prompted us to write this post to inform everyone of some changes regarding postage speeds & our customer support operations.

In shop visits have been temporarily suspended until further notice - contactless pickup, locals & some exceptions may apply, please ring us or send an email and we will get back to you ASAP.

Customer Support:

We are understaffed for the next 4 to 5 weeks and our boss is interstate which limits our customer support capabilities regarding technical enquries - the guys working (Dallas & Kyle) may not be able to assist with all questions, however we are able to take the information and get back to you in the next 48 hours. We also have alot of shipments due in shortly - this means alot of our attention will be spent on bringing the products into storage & restocking the shelves and updating the online inventories - and this limits the amount of time we are in the shop and around the phone.

If anything can be worked out through email please send your enquiries through the contact button on the homepage or to our email addresses listed on our contact page (lprtools@bigpond.com & kylelprtools@bigpond.com). Please reserve the phone lines for urgent enquiries. We strongly encourage everyone to try and checkout & pay through the website checkout process as we may miss your order. Orders done through the phone will not speed up the postage process as we fulfill the orders in the order they come in, and the prices are always the same as whats listed on the website - there is no discount for choosing to phone up to order over the automatic checkout process.

Postage:

Australia Post: Please keep in mind that Australia Post may be experiencing postage delays due to the overwhelming amount of parcels going in & out of the state. If you need something urgently and it is under 3kg, we strongly urge you to elect Toll Courier, anything over 3kg we highly recommend selecting Australia Post Express however. Tracking numbers most probably won't show any delivery info until it has reached the destination post office, however some do so it is always worth checking. Please allow an extra day or so for Express and an extra 2-5 days for regular post. It varies from state to state and rural to city.

Toll Courier: We still recommend using toll for urgent orders - however if your parcel is over 3kg this may vary as Toll's postage pricing has changed recently and it is impossible to predict an exact cost for anything over 3kg. If your order is over 3kg and going interstate, we will most likely contact you to discuss swapping to Express Post as the prices could be 10s or even some cases 100s of dollars off the original quote.
